Oh I forget in your shitty negative world a coach should get fired if he doesn't win the NC every year. Do you critique yourself like you critique our coaches?

Sorry just fed up with this negative crap after 2 great wins with freshman, walk one and scraps. Once again firing coaches is not the answer. We do that this program will spiral out of control. We are fixin to get good again. Even the guys on College Football Final are saying the future is bright for us this morning. Yet after these wins what do we hear? fire fire and fire some more. What the hell is the matter with you people?

Fans don’t fire coaches. Coaches performance gets them fired. These guys get paid millions of dollars and have a lot of pressure on them to perform. LSU is young and talented. Bo wasn’t dealt the best hand, but he wasn’t dealt the 126th ranked roster either. Coaching a program like LSU comes with high expectations, high expectations that Coach O himself set for this program. Not just fans.

Again, I think if a move is made on Pelini, it’s probably mutual.

I don’t think O gets fired for anything performance related, Title IX findings could be his demise but if nothing is found there, he is safe.

I agree with everything you said, except Gilbert was like three TIERS below Pitts.

Pitts was at Burrow level good for a tight end.. Arik came in at SEC starter level. That's like fantastic for a freshman, but it's not Heisman level different. Arik being gone was replaced fairly adequately by backups. There isn't another player in the country that can fill in for what Pitts does for them.

    Pitts is superstar level.
    Then there's star level.
    Then there's really good.
    Then there's starter quality.

Arik was starter quality day one which is exceptional, freshman All SEC. But that's nowhere close to Pitts. You can't stop a Pitts or Chase or DeVonta.

Fans do get coaches fired. Big enough uproar and the AD's and chancellor's listen. Miles was a good example.
