It almost seemed like the lightbulb FINALLY went off in his head!! That or the Saints signing Deuce put the fear of god into him. OR Kim finally let him do that thing that usually takes alot of groundwork and alittle begging!!! Whichever it is I dont care as long as this is a new page in his career and not just a fabrication of being pumped up for one game!!
Throughout this season he has been the same ole Bush..running out of bounds instead of turning it up for another yard or 2....fielding a punt and act like his is running tire drills before taking off full speed...and WORSE of ALL missing blocks! Yesterday was the BEST COMPLETE Game of his career!!
Exactly, and hopefully! He should realize by now how he should use his natural physical ability to be successful in the pros via changing of his style. In the Advocate today, Deuce had an interesting comment about all the hype and expectations of Bush being signed as a #2 pick with all the pressure; and that he should just be himself. Maybe he should bring that intimating black baseball bat to every game:thumb:
You know I mentioned this to a friend during the game. Not that signing Deuce scared him but if you remember he had a pretty good rookie season when Deuce was still here and I wonder if, after resigning him, Deuce sat Reggie down and gave him some pointers
