boom boom on the cut line. they say it may move to +4 if it gets cold and windy like it should -6 or so could very well be the winning score. tiger will get a huge break if the weather comes in tonight. a lot of the guys in the pack have a low ball flight and play sweeping draws...and they have taken advantage of the soft lies. that wont work tomorrow.
Mickelson in at -5 after 2 rounds. Woods in trouble at E after the first 9 holes. He still has amen corner to deal with.
Immelman had a spectacular day today, and certainly put himself in shape to win his first major. His shots were just incredible.
Tiger is done. He will get close but he is to far back. His putting was very "un-tiger" like. I can see a few of the leaders dropping but not all of them. He is just to far back. he will have to have the 2nd largest comeback in Masters History. Oh well maybe next year it will be "within reason"
I think Tiger is easily in it if the winds are blowing 20-30 tomorrow. Snedeker is great around the greens but Immelman isnt really, and his he wont be flag hunting tomorrow like he did today so he will have have to work some magic around the greens. Plus we haven't seen really fast greens yet, the speed was mainly dictated by the slope. If the weather is not severe than more than likely the only way Tiger wins it will be backing in to the green jacket. I suspect Tiger might make a push but someone in the final group will win it.
It's a lot easier to play well on Saturday (than Sunday) when you're at the top of the leaderboard. Let's see what Sunday has in store for these guys once they can almost "taste it". This will be a crazy Sunday. They are far from out of the Woods. I will leave it at that.
The 4 players ahead of Tiger have a combined 6 wins on the Tour and no majors. Not saying one of them can't pull it off but they will be watching the scoreboard for Tiger and if he's charging, look out.
