The passing game was outstanding. Met was on target, no interceptions and the OL for the most part protected him well. The receivers did an outstanding job. Magee had what may be his best game. The OL needs to open up more holes for the running backs. The defense did well, bending but not breaking. Good coverage by the secondary. But it has to put more pressure on the QB. The special teams need to cover kickoffs better. They need to get downfield quicker to cover the kickoffs.

P.S. Still need a bit more work on scoring 7 in the red zone.

And Magee and Blue had 90-95 yds rushing each, how sick is all that?

Good win by LSU. Not sure how good TCU is, but I'd guess they're solid, worthy competition. Running QB gives us fits again. Solid passing (nice job Mett, Landry, and ODBIII), not overly impressed with the run game but it turned out solid as well. Think Hill might have helped, but running into a pile over and over only gets you so much. Defense kinda struggled, ST kinda struggled, but really there were a lot of bright spots on both. We didn't dominate the run on either side of the ball, which is kinda disappointing. Got some time to iron out kinks, maybe TCU is strong.

The big surprise of the game: despite all the talk about getting the TEs into the passing game, not a single pass was thrown to a TE as far as I recall.

ST had quite a few oops moments, unchar.
Run blk was off, must we sac run for pass?
    Pass blk was all day.
    Mett was money on 3rd.
    Landry was a beast.
OBJ was good but dropped a few awesomes plays.
Red zone still a prob, though we got mugged all day on pass.
D was way better than expected.
Need more run QB discipline from dline.
    Barrow is no Minter, yet.
    Im spent.

Our young defense just got some valuable experience, our rexievers are running better routes, extending drives and scoring TDs, and Mett found his condidence. How can you not look forward to this season?

One was thrown at the goal line to Deshaun Smith but it was incomplete. It was the only attempted pass to a TE that I saw. There was also only two very ugly failed attempts to a RB and then the one complete pass to the FB neighbors.
