    RBs can catch more than just screen passes. The play calling isn't keepin the D honest. No excuse for not throwing some high efficiency passes to the TE snd RBs to mske the LBs play the pass. As long as the LBs can ignore the passing game the running game will suffer.

    Halftime stats

    LSU has out gained TCU 256 to 109 yards, 14 first downs to 6

    meanwhile, Bama and VT finished with 206 and 212 yards each and 11 first downs to 7

    They probably sniff out the screen well because they run it a lot themselves. These teams are surprisingly similar scheme wise.
