Are you as impressed as I am with the pass blocking? These guys still need to show that they can blow open some holes for the running backs, but they are giving Mettenberger plenty of time. I did love the TD run where they moved Hawkins to the left and had three big tackles in a row for the fullback to run behind ... Hawkins, Collins, Alexander. TCU should have known where the ball was going. Maybe they did but couldn't stop it.

That's the shocker to me. To have such great pass protection and suffer with run blocking.

It is hit or miss. New and young, but all good things vs. a QUALITY team....

Particularly the TEs. That was supposed to be a noticeable change in the offense this year. But the biggest problem on offense is the OL. I doubt if that will change much until Coach Stud is replaced.

Our starting tight end is out of the game. The receiving tight end. TCU has smelled out each of our attempts at a screen pass to the running back forcing Mett to throw it away. This needs to be adjusted at halftime, we are telegraphing it somehow.

Last year Mett averaged 27 pass attempts a game. Tonight he is mid 20's in the first half.

Trust me guys, this is NOT last years offense. We're just young and sloppy early in the season.

My opinion is that this team of Big-10 referees is fucking horrible.

Yeah I'm not real sure if Dickson was playing we would be using the tight end a lot anyway. As Red said, we tried to throw multiple screens but TCU sniffed it out and on one completely tackled and held Blue.

1 sure drop for a TD, another one that could have been, and 2 interference calls in the endzone that aided to stalling drives out. I don't wanna get too hyped too early, but we are seeing a diamond that just isn't polished yet.
