At home, against a pretty blase' offense. If we can't muster up a great defensive performance (or at the very least, decent), LSU is in great danger of giving up 50+ points to both Alabama and A&M in successive games.
A&M won't punt against us If we are fortunate enough to force them into one or two 4th downs, they will go for it. And rightfully so.
My father in law is an official for high school football and he told me Rapides High School's coach never passes the ball, never punts, and never kicks off. It could be 4th and 30 from their own goal line and he is running the football. And when they score, here comes the onside kick, every time.
I'm not worried about Bama's offense after playing Georgia. Georgia's offense is light years better than Bama's, and they didn't top 50. We are just going to have to keep pace with A&M. Last to score wins. No punts all night. And...why are so many so quick to dismiss the improvements in the defense in the second half of the Miss St. game. To say that their offense just "fell apart" and not suggest that our defense had nothing to do with it is just kinda ridiculous. There weren't receivers running all over the place with nobody covering. The DL got some pressure. The young LBs tackled better. Sure, they were slight improvements at best, but they were noticeable, and it was something to build off of. We MIGHT lose to Bama and A&M. Not saying it's impossible. But it's not a lock that we do, by any stretch.
