A person can not like the car they drive without knowing what make & model they'd replace it with. Well let me put this in terms you would understand. A man can know he's sick & tired of his bitch without knowing which bitch is going to take her place.
True, there have been quite a few names thrown out that would fit nicely but the apologist always find some little chink in the armor, as if Les' armor doesn't look like a county line road sign in the back 40 of BFE.
Who wants to hire this guy? Oklahoma State 4–7 (2–6) 5th (South) Oklahoma State 8–5 (5–3) 2nd (South)W Houston Oklahoma State 9–4 (5–3) 3rd (South)L Cotton Oklahoma State 7–5 (4–4) 5th (South)L Alamo Oklahoma State: 28–21 (16–16)
That's actually not bad when you consider that he followed a guy who won less than half of his games... It's tough winning at the "other" school in the state, so when a coach does he's given a chance to prove himself at a better situation... Little Nicky did the same coming from the "other" Michigan school...

I think what he meant was: All non Tebow (before and after) and only his SEC opponents. I don't really have time to research that but I found this: http://www.sportingnews.com/ncaa-fo...meyer-did-little-at-florida-without-tim-tebow "In the two years Meyer didn’t have Tebow, his Florida teams were a combined 17-9 and didn’t sniff the SEC East Division." Bottom line is: 1) A great QB makes any coach look great. 2) Les has accomplished a lot understanding that the Jefferson-Lee years comprised the majority of his games at LSU so far.
I think the significance of this cannot be stressed enough. As much as we appreciate Les Miles as our coach, our fanbase comes with huge expectations every year. Les needs a big win. He can get it this weekend, and I think he and his coaches knows how to get it. Nobody and I mean nobody is giving LSU a chance to win this game. Most of the Bama boards I have checked are predicting 30-40 point slaughters. We need this win. If Les can sneaks out of Gumpville with a W on Saturday, it will have a huge impact on his image not to mention LSU's football program. It will also put the Tide nation in turmoil and disarray. It's all I want for Christmas.
I appreciate what Les has done in the past but this season is what it is. The cupboard is bare on the Defense. There is no secret defensive weapon or new scheme to roll out. We will have to rely on 100% of the offense to win the remaining games. It just won't happen. Two timeouts taken in each of the 1st and 3rd quarters will leave the team in disarray at the end of the halves.
