I like how Tappy has seemingly come back here to address each and every issue raised with him. Refreshing. I also like reading the AL media on this game. It is totally devoid of the usual whine we get with publications in places like the left coast and Oklahoma with the likes of Berry Trammel at the Oklahoman, and Jenni Carlson. And that nutjob in Oregon, Cannzano, who writes for the Oregonian. So, well done Tappy. I realize that not every 'bama fan is going to come in and show us some respect, but that is ok. As long as the personal attacks and stupidity don't come up, I'm good with it. As for Bama ripping State next weekend, holy smokes, I fully expect them to destroy them. I'll have to watch that game. I feel compelled to keep an eye on Bama because I fully expect them to get back to BCS #2. Then what? Does Bama deserve to go back to the title game? Probably so. Do I want to face them again? Probably not, although we will have to be up for any challenge should we be fortunate enough to get there.
Tappy, I know I gave you hell last week, but I tip my hat to you for keeping your word and being humble upon your return. And I agree with the other posters who encourage you to stay. It's always good to have insight from around the conference. :thumb: bama has one HELL of a team. That secondary was suffocating, good grief. Best of luck to y'all (unless we meet again ).
Yeah .. I was thinking about that today .. I pity the poor souls who have to play Bama for the rest of the year. With a loss on their record, it's time for "style points". If it makes you feel better .. I don't consider LSU to be "better" than Bama .. though I DO consider Les Miles to be better than Saban. I think that was the big difference maker. Richardson did his part. McCarron played a fantastic game. Ya'll Defense is as good if not better than LSU's .... The difference really came down to FG artists, who almost never misses. BTW .. I was wrong too ... I figured the game would have higher scoring. I never thought that neither team would score a TD. I mean ... 5 FGs .. that's all the combined two defenses would allow, and the final one was a giveme ... as Alleman could have come out on first down of the OT and kicked the winning score. Good luck to you guys the rest of the year ... not that you need it. .. and we'll probably see you again in the NC game. Who knows.
