First and foremost... Congratulations to LSU, and good luck with the SEC, and National Championship. I hope for the best for this team, and I hope LSU has a great opponent, that will make for a great title game. I will be the first to admit I was wrong, so here it is. The way I see last nights game... The QB difference WAS the difference in this game, and I was wrong... We couldn't stop Jefferson and the option. Your team is lucky to have two QB's, because we had Lee's number. I was praying he would stay in the game, lol, but Les knew better, and it wont the game for you guys. Aj just couldn't do it for us... That INT on the 1 yard line was the game, and if it went the other way, we score, and our defense holds. However, LSU and those turnovers, UGH! Trent just couldn't run the ball, and your team had great success running... Special teams was also HUGE in this game... Not so much with the field position, because we always managed to drive down the field every time we were pinned back, we just couldn't complete drives, and our FG kicker is obviously TERRIBLE! We basically just got out physicaled at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball... It hurts to see it, but it happened, so what are ya gonna do? I am still going to support my team through this, and am excited to see how the rest of the season goes for them Great game tigers, and Roll Tide! Let the bashing begin
But I thought the two best defensive minds in college football history was on the Bama sideline? How is it possible that Bama lost? I'm glad you're back to eat crow. Enjoy the taste. I'll give you props for coming back to take it. You're better than your coach.
Hey, Tappy! You're here, I can't find fault with your analysis. You manned up! Creaux Gumbo being cooked right now all over LA. All Bama fans invited over for a friendly bowlful. Smash the rest of your schedule & we'll see y'all in DV in 2012. (Be prepared! I'm laid back; the rest of this forum is coming....)
Props to you for returning. The game was definitely up for grabs. 3-3 at half; 6-6 at end of regulation...what a game. LSU and Alabama are head & shoulders above the rest of the field.
I said they were the two best minds in the secondary... We held LSU to under 100 yards in passing, with no TD's, and two int's...
You have no reason to eat crow. That game could've gone either way a dozen different times. It was a classic.
No bashing, just the one fact: Since 2000, LSU 9 wins in the series, Bama 3. GEAUX TIGERS! PS Way to man up and show up, I respect that.
Yeah, just not able to capitalize... This game really shows how amazing the defenses of these two teams are, and yes, they are miles ahead of the rest of the country.
No! Some crow must be eaten. Tappy was one tough hombre in the run-up to this contest! Payback's a beyotch.
