This is still Auburn. They stomped the eye. They lit up cigars. They chop-blocked Glenn Dorsey. They kept us out of the Championship picture in 2006. They hired a ringer to steal 2010 from us. Look no further than last year if you don't believe they can rise up and find a way to screw us. They are Auburn, and they must be destroyed!

    Recent History:

In 2005, #7 LSU beat #16 Auburn 20-17 in OT. Auburn's kicker missed several FGs that day.
In 2006, ten total points were scored and #6 LSU were robbed by the refs on our way to a 3-7 LOSS to #3 Auburn
In 2007, it literally took every second on the clock for #5 LSU to beat a #18 Auburn in Tiger Stadium 30-24.
In 2008, J. Lee of #6 (LOL) LSU squeezed the winning TD in a tight window in the final minutes of the game to pull out a 26-21 victory over #10 Auburn.
In 2009, #10 LSU whooped an unranked Auburn team 31-10.
In 2010, $Cam earned his Heisman (and his money) by carrying #4 Auburn to a 24-17 victory over #6 LSU.
In 2011, #19 Auburn got shellacked by #1 LSU 45-10 - the biggest beatdown of the series by either team.
Last year, an unranked Auburn team took #2 LSU to the wire, losing 10-12

I want to put another win on this list. I want to re-set the record for the biggest beatdown. I want to beat them so badly that all the remaining oak trees in that shithole town just give up and die. LET'S DO THIS!!

Great post but we actually won the 2005 game in OT. I'm sure you remember the 'doink' game. The Auburn kicker missed 5 field goals including the potential game-tying one in OT. Tiger Stadium Voodoo

But back to your point, it's hard to get excited when most Auburn fans feel like they will get beat. They simply aren't a great team. I'm sure it'll still be tough as usual but not quite like last year. Our defense might give up some drives that keep them in the game but I feel confident we handle our business in the 2nd half. Saturday night in Tiger Stadium at its best.

Man that 10-12 debacle had escaped me. You kinda peaked my interest in the game a bit, thanks.

There are no controversies. We are desperately trying to manufacture one.

It is the first home conference game. That ought to be enough.

This game worries me. Malzahn's offenses have always given us fits, Arkansas and Auburn.
