again, your logic is like if i am paying the umpire and you throw me out of the game and dont fire the umpire.

people will always try to gain influence over the powerful. the solution is decentralized power, meaning the government controls fewer things. meaning all these boondoggles you constantly are clamoring for need to be dumped.

you think for example your cap and trade system wont be abused? you think these solar energy contracts dont go to the well-connected? thats the nature of government and one of the many reasons you should be opposed to its growth.

Republican political strategy #1 -- All failures that occurred under a Republican President, a Republican Congress, and a Republican Supreme Court are somehow a democrat's fault.

This BS adds to the GOP's loss of credibility.

meaning if you think the government is corrupt, you should protest the government. not wall street. they should occupy washington, not wall street.

corporate greed is none of our business and doesnt hurt us. it is a fact of life. the problem is when the government is corrupt and give big corporate subsidy or whatever. for that you should blame your elected leaders and people like red who favor big government boondoggles.

    Not too hypocritical :dis:

How many times have I heard "...the failures of the past 8 years." Or It's Bush's fault. Republican strategy? Give me a break.

I was thinking the same thing :hihi:

BTW…I was in PA for thanksgiving and they have a “Occupy Lancaster” movement. I went by to check it out…they seemed very organized and had about 10 tents in a small park (everyone says there was twice that before it got cold and that people come back on the weekends) and had a little “food tent” a “living room” area with yard furniture and a information table. They make the fools in New York look like…well fools.

I only saw three of four signs, most were about boycotting some cooperation that had their manufacturing plant based there and one was expressing protesting the water company. I didn’t get that one…I guess they expect the government to provide them with “free water”. Guess they don’t realize that if they gave it for them “free” they would just pay for it in a sales tax or property tax.
