The Fed spends more money than elected officials and yet most people ignore it or don't know about it! Between the Fed and the politicians, this country is becoming a third world country.

Obama is president, he should make a statement to stop these Occupiers from breaking the law, this is wrong!
    News Headlines

Some demonstrators are planning to occupy retailers on Black Friday to protest "the business that are in the pockets of Wall Street."

Organizers are encouraging consumers to either occupy or boycott retailers that are publicly traded, according to the Stop Black Friday website.

The goal of the movement is to impact the profits of major corporations this holiday season.

"The idea is simple, hit the corporations that corrupt and control American politics where it hurts, their profits, " states the Occupy Black Friday Facebook page.

A few of the retailers the protesters plan on targeting include Neiman Marcus, Amazon and Wal-Mart.

Obama loves the occupiers. They're his people. They will vote for him. Hopefully the intelligent masses will set things straight next November. Some idiots will vote Democrat just because they hate the last GOP administration, but those people don't want to face the harsh realities of 4 more years of Obama. And they don't want to face the harsh economic realities of the here and now.

I agree, the unions, Democrat base, Michael Moore are all behind and supporting this. Did you catch the Michael Moore interview from here when Michael Moore showed up at the occupation in Denver?

Michael Moore Confronted At Occupy Denver 2011 - YouTube

I agree but I am worried about voter fraud. I was a little depressed more didn't turn out to vote last November with you consider the state of the union
I'm amazed by some of the Obama 2012 bumper stickers here in Denver. A handful so far, BMW, Volvo, etc. I know its the base, probably the parents of the Occupiers. Some will vote for him because they are Democrats, union members and others receive handouts. I don't know, I think the base still blames Bush and the Republicans for all their problems. I think they are voting for Obama no matter what and don't understand what the future will bring. It will always be someone other than Obama's and the Democrats fault. More like Corporations, Big Oil, CEO's, Insurers, etc.
Its too bad they don't teach the important things in life in school such as economics, etc. No wonder schools, American people and government if failing. We live under a failing political system, politicians and American people and it shows IMHO. Some of this is due to Americans and the country divided about which road to take.

The Occupiers are Liberals or Obama's sheep. If they had any idea why they were there they would be protesting Obama because he is the one who bailed out the banks. He even said he was between the banks and the people with the pitchforks. WE haven't had capitalism in a long time. If my memory remembers correctly Obama and Bush both have bailed out corporations and banks. Occupiers are uninformed or just sheep or they would be protesting the policies of the Obama Administration and Obama himself.

i dunno that he occupiers are pro-obama, i think they might be a mix of lefties and ron paulians. because they have no specific agenda of any kind, basically anyone can go down there and pretend their cause is the one being protested for.

They are breaking no federal laws! This is another example of your hate of Obama. Blaming him for not doing something that he is Constittionally forbidden from doing. :insane:

In fact the protesters are exercising Constitutional rights.

99% versus 1%. More and more middle-calls republicans are starting to question why the party sucks up to the 1% as its highest priority.

More lies. TARP was a George W. Bush program put through a republican Congress in 2008.

so it isnt about economic reality, it is about the stupidity of the public? i certainly agree that ythere have been worker revolutions that resulted in far worse conditions for everyone. and you are right, the positions of people that want to redistribute wealth will in fact ruin us. but that isnt not because the system doesnt work, it is because people are morons.

if the country is rich enough, it matters less who controls what. even the poor have enough. again, i point you in the direction of the modern poor american, contrast him with a poor person from a country like china, where the poor workers are represented by an equality seeking communist government.
