I don't disagree with anything you have said, but you aren't going to find many people on this board who share your view on this subject. Unless you are a redneck with gun protesting and calling Obama hitler, every protester is a hippie/jobless/homosexual/freeloader to 99% of this board.

The dude has more than enough warning. He wanted to provoke them and he got his wish. And the spleen is not in the thigh. That's the only place he got hit.

I posted the video for the fun of it but I kind of agree. In this case he was asking for it, but until he proves to be a threat there's no reason to beat him down(especially with all that gear they have on).

What about the marine who was shot with a rubber bullet in Oakland? He was peacefully protesting, not taunting anyone. One cop even throws a flashbang at his head while he was down. Inexcusable and an abuse of power.

Why hasn't that been reported on much at all? All we hear is how cops are being attacked, drugs and rape, etc.

Bullchit. The 2010 deficit is 2 Trillion, the 2010 GDP is almost 15 Trillion. We are nowhere near broke. It's a lie.

Excuse me your Obamadefenderness. I meant to say the debt is equal to the GDP and, yes, we are broke.

No we are not. The net worth of America is staggeringly high. That debt is a single figure. The GDP comes in every year!

Right now we have about 10,000 people turning 65 per day. The Workers per retiree was 3.2 in 1975, now, its around 2.9. Social Security hasn't kept up with Health Care costs. Private sector workers with pensions 87% in 1979, 20% in 2009. Life expectancy rising every year.

Right now around 45% of retirees have left to workforce earlier than planned. The top reasons:

    63% Health or Disability problems.
    23% Changes at their company(Layoffs/closures).
18% Having to care for a family member.
8% Changes required in job skills.

Many are wanting/having to work longer. They don't want to run out of money. Many are having kids(Younger adults) and/or Parents move back home with them.

Bull. Typical liberal response in order to justify continued out of control spending.

If I'm $150,000 in debt and I make $150,000 a year, I am broke. Unless I stop spending unnecessarily, I will go bankrupt.
