I've seen you guys judge these people and everything they stand for, so I'm simply defending them while trying to see what you stand for. I'm young and willing to admit I have much more to learn before I try to argue over politics. Although I was nice enough to look past all the childish remarks some people must resort to when they have nothing of substance to share.(the last page I read)

I also find it funny that you accused me of being educated by the liberal media, yet the views in this topic(on occupy) are heavily influenced by the media.

My views are influenced by what I see. I have seen, in person, the OWS groups in both San Francisco and in New York (3 times). I had to walk past them to get to work and they are nothing but a bunch of druggies and homeless a-holes who are looking for a party. I have literally smelled them and I now know where the phrase "The Great Unwashed" comes from.

    You said:

My comment was not a "childish remark". It was in response to your own words.

The Occupy movement should have been over in a week. They have destroyed any good that may have come out of this by being foolish, stubborn and woefully unprepared to carry on any type of dialogue. You don't make progress by disrupting the lives of hard working stiffs just trying to make a living.

the homeless didn't start the movement, they just saw opportunity for food and comfort I guess.

I agree that protesting over the bridge, etc is going a bit too far. Never let your rights interfere with the rights of others, I get that. I know too many people involved to just write it off as a bunch of jobless, drunk hippies. They lack a public figure/leader to get their message across and it's way too unorganized. I'll leave it at that.

Also, I never said you made a childish remark. I was referring to the previous pages/hatefest.

Article says he owns a business, but it could be that darn liberal media.

Good to know how easy it is for a cop to legally beat on people.

Dude was taunting them...turned facing them and ignoring the officer when he said to leave. When a cop says leave you LEAVE...you don't bounce up and down in front of them and taunt them.

In a situation like that they have to take every individual as a threat…if not they may not go home that night. Dude could of easily had a weapon.
