I've seen this all over, but I don't know much about it and what it is exactly these people stand for. I've been super busy so I haven't really had a chance to do any research and I only really know a little bit of what these people stand for. I'm not being a smart ace....I would really like to read some discussion on the issue. Didn't see it mentioned anywhere so my apologies if it's already being discussed.

Their grievance is social and economic inequality, corporate greed, and the influence of corporate money and lobbyists on government.

Like the early tea party protests, the core group has had a lot of other folks with other agendas latch on to the media attention. And a lot of copycat groups, surprisingly many if them overseas, also with their own agenda's. If it has any staying power, it will also have to organize and define it self clearly.

It's part of the Dem strategy to shift attention away from Obama's dismal economic record. Obama is destined to be a one-termer and his only chance is to foment class warfare between working Americans and those who just want to be given everything. The "occupation" is a well funded (Soros/Unions) operation designed to divert attention away from the Obama failures.

Man are you a sucker. The Republicans are great at convincing gullible middle class people to vote against their own best interests by making it seem like its you and them against the shiftless poor people.

The class warfare is between the ultra-rich and everybody who actually works for a living. The ultra rich get even richer every year and widen the gap between them and the middle class. That money is not coming from the poor, it is coming from you, fool.

I asked someone in my office about it and he forwarded this to me:

    We are the 1 percent

What's the stat that they are all hung up on? 99%? 1%?

Again, I'm not casting stones....I'm just asking.

if they hate things like corporate bailouts, they should protest the big government, not wall st.

again, this is like if the umpire is giving me every pitch and you yell at me and not the umpire.
