I like Bo Pel, but I don't love him.
Is this list of numbers familiar - 24,14,50,24,10,34,24,43,and 24.
Let me give yo a hint - the 10 was La Tech. It's what our opponents scored in the last nine games in the 2007NC season. Average 28 points per game, 30 if you take La Tech out of the mix.
Thank God we had GC to save Bo's butt.:lol: Just kidding, couldn't resist.

But I'm serious about not seeing Bo as our answer - especially with his antics lately,

And if anyone brings up the Pirate [leach] again I'm going to tell my parrot to crap on your head.

Would you guys rather have Bo Pelini or Will Muschamp? Both Saban guys with a sick nasty defense mind.

Just wondering if the Urban thing had played out differently and Muschamp was still available....

That's like asking: would you rather have a celery stick or a carrot when you have jambalaya on your plate... Neither, thanks. I'll stick with CLM.

I forget - what year did Pelini coach with Saban?

I would rather keep the defensive staff intact and bring in an offense HC. Say a Mullen that keeps Chief's people and the recruiters,

But I'd rather keep CLM than anyone - including Urbane if he came back out.

:geaux: I hope Alleva has already put out some feelers to Mullen in case CLM goes UM on us. I could handle him coming in to replace Les if this goes down. :LSU231:

My sentiments exactly! I hope Miles stays, but we could do worse than Bo Pelini. I'd hope that "the powers that be" have a short list that includes more than one coaching option.

Without looking up stats, I also seem to remember Pelini defenses being oft penalized while he was here - feeding the notion that Miles coached teams are undisciplined. That appears to have followed Pelini to Nebraska (i.e. the Nebraska vs. A&M game). Chavis has cleaned up that kind of play over the past two years while maintaining a tough, aggressive defense.

I really really want to keep Les, but I'll understand if he goes
    My list would be
Gary Patterson - tough coach and adds TX recruiting
Dan Mullen - tough coach and I think future super star coach
Bret Bielema - Don't know if he's interested but if he can do 49-16 at Wisconson and likes power football he's worth a look

Name to throw against the wall
Mike Gundy - you want offense, he put 41 points on Bo and big game Bob. PLUS - it would be fun to hear the OSU screams

    NO NOs
    Mike Leach
    Gruden

    WTF list
    Jack Del Rio

Someone seems to forget Faulk, Mealey and the Diesel and the preseason #6 ranking we enjoyed going into DiNardo's last season. (Just don't ask me how we finished.)

Tiger Stadium has been around since 1924 and back in the day served as a dormitory. So it's old and - surprise, surprise - it looks old, too!

I'm fairly certain you're mildly retarded.
