Disagree. First, Bolden reports to LSU with 0 experience with LSU's offense and only 1 month before the first game. But yeah, LSU has some potential huge blowouts on their schedule. I could definitely see Mettenberger being pulled at halftime in some of these games if the staff doesn't think he needs the snaps to get the offense down himself. And I wouldn't be surprised in certain games to give the backup 1 series per half or a few plays in a half to change the tempo a bit from pro style to dual threat (more precisely a moving pocket to throw a pass) and confuse the defense. But for those who have watched Bolden, this guy is NOT Jefferson. He looks to pass first, be patient, and run if he has to. Jefferson was never accused of that.
You dont think a small percentage of what JJ did can be taught through Fall practice and implemented in a short period of time in order to get Bolden or Randall PT?
