Yeah, of course he was dropped down the depth chart in the spring. Apparently from the reports I've seen multiple places, it was KNOWN to football programs like LSU that Bolden was going to be available. So you and the Penn State coach can SPIN it anyway you want to but the reports on Bolden have said that LSU KNEW that Bolden was available MONTHS ago. IF LSU knew, that I'll take a wild guess that the Penn State coach knew too. Thus, I will stand by the Rivals depth chart which probably didn't take account the sudden drop of Bolden to 3rd team coincidentally when there was 0 chance Bolden would be at Penn State in 2012 season. Bolden was 2ND team behind the guy who started at the end of last season.
I'm thinking it's a good move to bring Bolden in as insurance/backup for Mett. I don't think anybody wants to go through another 2008 again. Let's give Bolden the benefit of the doubt if he ends up at LSU. A fresh start with a new team might prove to be beneficial for all concerned.

Hey guy, do some homework. I certainly did NOT know that LSU had been looking at this guy for months but apparently he contacted LSU long ago. So this sudden bit of surprising news was only surprising to people like me and obviously you that were out of the loop. I don't really care if you believe it or not...just believe naively that all of a sudden a guy gets dropped down to 3rd on a depth chart to a nobody. And BTW, I have the Brooklyn Bridge to sell...interested? I bet you also believe that anytime a team loses a potential recruit to another school and the fans say, "Oh, our school had backed off of him anyway", that is gospel right? BTW, on Pagano, I said I WOULD have taken the guy but I had some concerns. IF you actually read what I said instead of just doing creative posting you would have read that my two concerns were "1) he bad mouthed other defensive linemen around the country which clearly was to try to up his own stock and 2) he went to a 3rd party camp and didn't impress" {specifically, Boutte the LSU verbal in one on ones pancaked him so flat that Dennys offered Boutte a job}. Once again man, do your homework for a change instead of coming up with this garbage like the PSU depth chart after the QB in question said he was leaving. BTW, the WR coaches I bad mouthed were the GONE WR coaches. That was McCarthy who put LSU on probation with the Hicks situation and Billy Gonzales who neither coached well nor recruited well. I don't remember bad mouthing the TE coach other than to say the TEs weren't doing much or improving at LSU. Is that bad mouthing the coaching...maybe so, maybe no. BTW, it is truly laughable that now all of a sudden I flip flop when some others who I now have on IGNORE say that "you never admit you are wrong and stick to your statements regardless." Soooo, which one is it? Anyway, if you had read up on the Bolden guy like I had, you would have known that this was NOT a surprise to people who followed the guy. I was NOT one of those so it DID surprise me.

What am I going to do I may cry, you my friend said after Pagano committed to Clemson you had concerns not before when you where saying when would like him at LSU nice try but it can be proved by looking at the dates. Also you put blame on both TE and WR coaches when talking about RS and lack or TE play. Maybe you should do some homework because Paul Jones was a 5 star recruit out of High school who has had off the field problems so he's not a "nobody". I never said I was surprised, I said I pray he doesn't end up at LSU because he sucks. I bet you didn't see a single game he played but you can read stats and think he is good.
By the way am I they only person who looks at Bolden picture and thinks he could be Cam Newton's brother
