I know that ESPN guys meant it as a joke, and this is petty personal attacks on both coaches designed to attract attention, but it still gets a little aggravating. JoePa's old, Miles made a mistake. It would be nice if announcers and sports writers had short memories like they claim kickers, QB's and WR's need to have
Now, Now, Seaward, what were you saying? Would you mind reposting? I, somehow, became distracted by your first one. ("I like her smile") OMG I never knew she had one!:hihi:
This is a very valid point that I would like to expand on. After watching us beat GT in the Peach Bowl last year I was so excited. I thought the offense was going to be so much better this year, JJ looked like a veteran with very few starts. So I have read hundreds of posts here with people saying what is the problem? Everyone thought we would be 9-3 or 10-2. Fair enough but are expectations only met by a coaching record? Not for everyone anyway, some fans see the way we play in bowl games and wonder why can't we play this way against an SEC opponent? Is the SEC that much better than our bowl opponent? I'm an SEC guy and I say no its not, I will also point out that we have just gotten by some of our OOC opponents in the regular season as well. I understand a win is a win, ugly or not but you just have to wonder why we seem to field two different teams between bowl season and regular season. I can see how under these circumstances people would be a little surprised as well as disappointed. I closed my left eye when I read his post btw!
Since my words are a distraction from what is really important, for now on I will just press the space bar and hit submit. Enjoy :thumb:
