Did anyone see the clip after the game of Miles embracing Perriloux? It looked like a father hugging his son after his son had just won the big game. Miles hasn't given up on this kid and I truly believe that this game was a turning point for RP. I don't know what Miles said to him, but I'm sure it was something along the lines of, "This is your team next year. Prove that you are worthy to lead them and earn it." The next two years are going to be very exciting with RP at the helm.
I did see the "father/son moment", and I could not agree with you more. I believe that it is Miles' commitment to RP that made him persevere like a veteran QB last night. What little bit we have all seen out of RP this season has been spot on, in my opinion. I am looking so forward to seeing what he brings to the table to elevate our offense.:geaux:
what i noticed was the coaching throughout the game, especially in the first half when rp was trying to get settled in leading the team. miles had patience, reassured him when things weren't his fault, and didnt tear him down. rather, he seemed to try to help build him up to the task at hand. every time i saw that it was a feel good moment.
Unfortunately, it would be hard for any QB to win it while Tebow is still playing college ball, IMHO.
