There was a black coach that I had in middle school named coach Bailey. He taught us the true meaning of the nword. I have a brother in law that is a cheating , lieing alcoholic He will steal money out your wallet if you leave it where he can get his thieving hands on it. He can't keep a job and doesn't pay child support. He is a white nword. There is no racist cover up here lasalle. Because I am a conservative doesn't mean I'm a Klan member like you imply. It's not fair at all to say that every person that isn't a democrat is a racist Klan member. You are wrong for saying that. Racist come in all colors, religions and political ideologies. How can you claim that someone is a racist when you don't know them and the only reason is that they aren't a democrat ? I have said I am a fiscal conservative much more than a social conservative. Why do you repeat the worn out crap that everyone that isn't a liberal progressive is racist. You ASSume too much.

 

basically everyone i have ever met is racist to the extent that is rational, whether they admit it or not. some feel guilty about it, some dont.

i guess years ago there were more people who were irrationally racist, meaning they would do things that were counterproductive, like not want black fellas to play baseball even though they are awesome. but now it seems like we have it figured out. sometimes people are prejudiced, but mostly to an extent that is justified.

 

I didn't say that. I never said all republicans were racist, and I never said all democrats weren't. Look, I am not a democrat first of all. I tend to side with democrats because they more closely represent my beliefs. Trust me, I know plenty of democrat racists. Hell, Democrats were the original racists, Lincoln and the emancipators were Republicans. I would love for you to point out where I said, that everyone that isn't a liberal progressive is racist. The N word, is a racist term. Plain and simple. Are you a racist? I don't know, but what I do know is that people that say things like .... "I have plenty of black friends" or "the word Morman is used for all people who are trash, regardless of color" Yet I bet you have never driven past a trailer park, and saw some white trash dude, and muttered the N word under your breath. The reason it's a disrespectful word is because of the way it was used here in the States from Slavery up until hell, 10, 20 years ago? De-segregation wasn't that long ago. There are still plenty of people who are alive that have had that word used on them to put them down, to make them feel like they were a piece of crap just because they were a different color. That's why it's disrespectful. Kind of like the word Retard. Which is also disrespectful, that I myself could do a much better job of cutting out of my vocabulary.

I don't think all republicans are evil, just most, and it's really not the fiscal conservatives I have problems with. It's the ones with the social agenda I have problems with. Like the lady this thread was started about.

I never said I had lots of black friends or anything like that. I had a teacher who happened to be a black man teach me what that word really means. My brother in law is the biggest Morman I have ever met and he is white. I have really few friends and lots of acquaintances. A friend would get up in the middle of the night and drive two hours to tow your broke down truck home with a rope. A friend will take a bat to someone who is trying to hurt you. If a person has three or four true friends in his life he is lucky. I take the word friend to heart.

 

When I hear the word "Cumquat" I am so oiffended I go on a raping and killing spree. Please stop using that word.

The problems that arise when one utters the N word do not arise out of blacks being offended. It's the reaction of whites who are afraid some one will think they tolerate it if they don't express their outrage.

While that may be true for alot, and I mean alot of people, especially blowhards on the left, it is not true for all of us. Ive seen the damage that word can do to people, especially those I care about. Not everyone is a headstrong person that can just let insults and such roll off their back. Its easy for you and I and others to say " they are just words, get over it" but is something totally different for others.

 

So how about the Daily Caller calling Bachmann out because she gets migraines. And then Pawlenty jumping all over it, and Karl Rove.

I think Republicans are getting scared that Bachmann is picking up steam.
