It is allowed...but bitching about the same thing will get others a little tired of the same thing :thumb:

Hey, alot of us have been listening to bitching about the OUR coaches for the ENTIRE season, don't see why I can't bitch about Keith Jackson, in one thread, the day after the game.:thumb:

One of the talking heads on ESPN's Game Day on Thursday said the Texas offense did well against an excellent Pete Carroll defense. Since when is it an excellent defense when one man is reponsible for nearly 500 yds and most of 41 points?

Bitching is one thing. I have no problem with bitching. It's just that people have been bitching about the lovefest with USC since 2003. Texas finally put them in their place. If the media continues the lovefest, well then I think the media is foolish (then again, they're foolish now). But I think it's time to get over the whole matter. And that's my opinion.

I do hope that wasn't directed towards me. Because I am FAR from that description.

No doubt about it this USC team is great... and Texas is definately the Vince Young show... but Texas always seems to be carried by one big star... Roy williams, ricky williams, the list goes on and on... as for not having a reason to hate texas well i had plenty... trust me i pulled for them in that game... but i could have cared less that texas got another national title...

If they would just add strength of Schedule and quality wins back to the formula so teams will have to play quality opponents all year round to have a shot... then this would all be better... it had already made people start to schedule better non confrence opponents... which was what college football needed in the first place... i for one am tired of even us scheduling these bs non confrenence games... i mean 1 maybe but 3 its a waste of money... It is still really sad that LSU has never played Michigan, NC St., Virginia, (we have only played 3 teams in the big east ever), if it wasnt for playing Michigan St., Iowa and Illinois in the last 10 years it would be the same for the big 10, I want to see us play better opponents... i would like to go to some away games that are not across the country... i mean damn why are we wasting our time playing ull ulm or tech... between all three teams we are a combined 38-1... and that one loss came 102 years ago... i can see playing tulane every few years just because of the tradition... but damn lets branch out... there are plenty of teams out there...

Why dont we try to schedule games with big 12 opponents they are all pretty close... i mean we have played texas A&M more than enough... and even baylor and colorado... but i definately wouldnt mind seeing LSU challage Nebraska... a team we have never beatin in 6 trys... we have a losing record to Missouri too for that matter and tied up with oklahoma... we have played texas also... but damn i could see playing them even as good as they are... we compete with texas for recruits... what better way to steal them away then on the field... and we have never played kansas or Oklahoma st... where miles just came from...

i for one would really like to see us play some of these teams i have suggested... i dont want to wait around for 100 more years... coz i am 31 now so i dont think i got 100 more years left in me... come on skip get it together...

I printed this roster out for some friends of mine just the other day just because its something I cant wrap my brain around still. as more time passes the more amazing it becomes.

    TE's: shockey and winslow

    WR:andre johnson, roscoe parrish

RB's: mcgahee, portis, gore, davenport, payton

    defense: dj williams, jonathan vilma

vince wilfork, jerome mcdougal(another one shot), william joseph

sean taylor, ed reed, philip buchanon, mike rumph

O-line: bryant mckinnie and vernon carey

who cares what puppet is at qb, even dorsey.

seems like that entire list was first rounders.

Not nearly as impressive by round today, but tons of NFL contributors or future contributors. And a couple that could have been. Just pulled this up for fun. Could be real interesting with this group in 2 or 3 years.
