anytime an authority figure is trying to punish you and your lawyer says shut up, you should shut up.

its worth noting that that the NCAA makes over 90% of their revenue off of basketball players. they want to keep that cash and they want to cash that billion dollar check every year off the tournament TV revenue. thats their goal. not helping players, not helping schools.

the NCAA tournmant, being 63 games with great tv ratings, is a cash monster. the only thing they want is to protect their brand and keep that cash rolling. they dont care who pays who as long as it isnt a public slap in their face. unsophisticated clowns get turned off of the sport when they hear about payments. they tune out and it hurts revenue. and their revenue is what they are there to protect.

 

Good point, its often overlooked that the NCAA doesn't have much to do with the football playoffs or bowl games

they asked about the current players, he dodged it. he is probably very unsure about who stays, if any.

 

coach says he wants to play an NBA uptempo style. wants players to develop for the league. no 50-47 wins. no slowdowns. NBA style.

thats what recruits want, that is for sure, hope they buy it.

I agree. WW is history, gone, done...whatever you want to call it! I don't understand why people are still talking about him. We just hired an exciting, young coach that knows how to win, develop players and has been described as an excellent Xs and Os guy! They also say he's a class act and does it the right way, which is something desperately needed at LSU right now!
