I'm really hoping Coach MM can convince some of the current players to stay. I would love to see Murray, Gaines, O'Neal, Wilkinson, Fudge and Reid stick around and I believe LSU would have a good foundation to build on. I know a lot of people are talking about Miller, but until he can prove himself, I don't count on him as a key to our success. The two I think could benefit the most by staying are Gaines and Reid. Everything I've read says MM is great at working individually with players, focusing on their strengths and bringing out the best in each player.

It's clear Gaines is immensely talented, but he hasn't received any good coaching to help him reign in his talents, which would make him a better individual player and team player. Reid, IMO, is another classic example of a player that hasn't received much good coaching. It's one thing to be a 7-footer, but it's another thing to know how to properly post up, box out, set screens, move without the ball, fill the lane, drive to the hole or when to settle for a short jumper. IMO, 7-footers should not be shooting 3s and Reid took a lot of them!

I guess no one really knows who will stay and who will go, but I'm just fired up to see a well coached LSU team that runs an efficient offense/versatile defense and is not just a team that relies on its athleticism/talent to win the game. Good coaching matters and Coach MM appears to check off all the boxes in that area!

Well we agree on one thing, there is a stupid person in this conversation. You have no objectivity when it comes to Wade. You are blind to things so obvious to everyone else. With respect to my comments when I explain them, you call it definding, you ignore what you don't like and pull some totally random thing out of your ass like Rosa Parks to explain your crazy shit. I can't wait to see what's next, it's always entertaining.
The point is Wade made himself less valuable. He could have mitigated the devaluation by handling it different. It doesn't matter what he was making, since he is a young coach his earning years are ahead of him. What matters is he starts that new career at a lower initial salary than he could have and it will take years to make up the delta, if he can.

I liked him also; and I think he will end up being successful if he takes the lessons learned and applies them.
I wish him nothing but the best.

if he had taken your lesson over his lawyer, how much would he have increased his earnings? and how?

i think the main lesson he learned is that the NCAA is a bunch of dumbfucks.

LSU should have supported him like kansas did self.

not true, i didnt call anyone stupid. please dont misrepresent my points. also you are the one calling me stupid here. you are taking the low road. i dont do that. i called you zero names. i said very specifically your point was dumb. not you. if you read more closely you will see the difference between claiming your point is dumb and saying you are yourself stupid.

with rosa parks i was explaining a concept. that civil disbedience is noble. meaning, to disobey a stupid law is fine. you agreed. you also disagreed, and contradicted yourself. i can quote you doing it again if you want.

even now you are not making counterpoints to what i said. you guys are poor at civil disagreement and attack your opponents personally.

of course it does. it massively changed his life. he has already earned enough that he could retire and never work again. after being heard violating the rules he continued to earn many millions. more than 99% of americans.

"According to a recent salary database, Wade was making $3,501,500."

    https://www.theadvertiser.com/story...n-contract-will-wade-murray-state/7126915001/

this contradicts another thing i read which said he was making 2.5 million. at any rate he made around 7 to 9 million since he was suspended.

how? you keep saying this and i ask how over and over but you wont answer. you want him to admit fault, get fired, and go coach for 10% of his salary? or keep making millions and winning enough to create a resume where he is super hireable when available again.

i have heard rumors that mike white failed at florida for being too clean, not being eager enough to pay kids. i hope mcmahon doesnt have that problem and i hope he pays them as quickly and as much as possible
