And I don't think I wrote that you did. From a golf fans perspective I could care less what he does outside the ropes. It's his conduct inside the ropes that I have a problem with. He said he was going to try very hard to change. I don't expect it to happen over night.

I never said that you said that i said that you said...LOL.

But yea, Tiger's not changing over night. Honestly i don't think he will change because he's too competitve. I guess time will tell.

That's the excuse everyone makes for his on-course BS, and that's exactly what the excuse is....BS Is Els not competitive because he knows and conforms to course etiquette? Lefty? Furyk? They all blow off a little steam from time to time, but its a way of life with Tiger, and he should have been called on it a long time ago. If he had, maybe it wouldn't be an issue anymore.

    Re: Great column

I'm sure Els, Furyk, Lefty, etc are competitive or else they wouldn't be good golfers. But no one in golf is more competitve as Tiger. His will to win is second to none.

I compare Tiger to MJ in that regard. They accept nothing less than winning and that's why they are arguably the best players to ever play their sport.

Someone posted earlier about Tiger whining about finishing 4th and that other golfers would love to finish 4th at the Masters. And that says it all right there. Tiger doesn't accept losing.
