Westwood will fold tomorrow. He has never been a challenger at the Masters and tomorrow will show why. Tiger has never come from behind to win a major, so count him out as well. I would love for Boom Boom to stay in it and have a great round tomorrow, but I tend to think it isn't meant to be. Mickelson by at least 3 shots tomorrow.
Well i guess Tiger will win his 5th green jacket then. Last year you told everyone here to bet their life savings that Tiger would win the PGA Championship because he never lost a major with a lead after 54 holes. Then a Y.E. It's up for grabs tomorrow. Westwood is known to choke on Sunday in a major. Lefty is the most frustrating player to watch. As great as he played today, he can be the total opposite tomorrow. Look at last year's final round. Shot up the leader board then tries to muscle up a 9-iron on 12 and finds the drink. Then misses a 5 footer for eagle on 13. Tourny lost on those two holes. Tiger is Tiger so anything is possible with him. But he has to putt a lot better to have a chance. 3 3-putts today is why he's 4 shots behind instead of 1. KJ Choi is solid so he's got a shot. I would love to see Boom Boom in the mix tomorrow also. Should be an awesome final round tomorrow.
Westwood finished 3rd last year in the Open & PGA Championship. I'll be surprised if he folds tomorrow. Phil, who knows? He could shoot 65 and win in a runaway or shoot 75 and be out of the running. Will be interesting to see how the green jackets set up the course.
Never heard that he was "your boy" since he was on the first page at Augusta. Pretty sure actually that if I dug back through the years that you've probably called him a choke artist, etc... in the past. Dude is a total smug prick behind the cameras. But leave it to you to eat the cheese (in all situations).
Now they're criticizing Tiger for his "outburst" on 6 yesterday. Gimme an f'n break. All he said was "Tiger Woods you suck!" It's not like he dropped a few F bombs. The media is critical after Tiger said in his PC that he would TRY his best to calm down. Tiger is way to competitive to tone it down. But i like what Jim Grey from the Golf Channel said. He never had a problem with the emotion, good or bad, that Tiger showed on the course. He doesn't want Tiger to change that in fear he might lose that killer instinct. Grey just would like to see Tiger interact more with the fans. And we saw Tiger signing autographs yeasterday which I've never seen him do. So it looks like Tiger is trying to be more fan friendly.
Every golfer talks to himself/herself on the course. Only one golfer has the microphone in his face constantly.
