Sarah Jeong is a perfect fit for the NYT. It's no surprise that the New York Times despises the average white American. And has an obvious socialist agenda. But that's their right. I believe in freedom of the press and all the other bill of rights.

Where have you seen that. As recently as an hour ago, the Times is still saying she's their dog. Maybe it's because of their other case demonstrating a double standard by the Times.

"The paper of record doesn't have a consistent track record on these kinds of matters. Jeong’s comments come less than six months after the Times hired Quinn Norton to write opinion pieces on “the power, culture, and consequences of technology." The ax came just hours after hiring her. Same deal: Old tweets unearthed, some racially insensitive comments — except that the ending of her Times story is much different.

“Despite our review of Quinn Norton’s work and our conversations with her previous employers, this was new information to us. Based on it, we’ve decided to go our separate ways,” Times editorial editor James Bennet said on Feb. 13. "

It must get a lot colder after Christmas. I was in OKC in a February one time and it was colder than a witches tit. Every morning when I would walk out of the hotel towards my truck there was a strong cold wind blowing in my face.

There are good and bad things about most religions. @LaSalleAve wouldn't label himself a Christian but he probably lives by the Christian ethic for the most part.

The most annoyed thing about some Christians is their compulsion to try to convert total strangers to their own sects particular subset of beliefs. I sometimes go to a coffee shop that is near the Jimmy Swaggart complex. These people will come in and sit together and all they ever talk about is Jesus. Never sports, politics, music, business or anything else that regular people talk about.

Every now and then one of them will approach me and ask what church I go to or if I'm a Christian. I usually tell them that I'm a Rastafarian and I start talking with a fake Jamaican accent, usually quoting from Bob Marley songs. That always ends the encounter pretty quickly.

Religions are bad. Nothing wrong with being a spiritual person. But organized religion is terrible. Again, if divine reward is the only thing keeping you decent, you’re a piece of shit.

What about the fear of hell? I the only thing keeping you decent is hell then by the same logic you are a piece of shit. If you are a piece of shit then you are going to hell anyway. You're damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Not everything about religion is all bad. A lot of churches feed the poor and raise money for charity. They also provide a social outlet that enables people to be with other like minded people. I don't know if it's still true that a lot of people meet their spouses in church but in earlier times it was the prevalent method.

They also have organized youth activities that keep kids out of the kinds of trouble they would get into if they were running the streets.

Not all religions are bad. I'm willing to bed you are on board with Rastafarianism and probably even Buddhism.

Unfortunately one of the world's oldest and certainly largest pedophile rings is run out of the Vatican by the man in the big white hat. More Catholics need to address that with the Church and stop tithing as long as it continues.JMO.

And that is the basis of what you obviously don't understand. ALL of us are sinners or "pieces of shit" as you call it. It's the divine reward that we are to strive for to make us better people.

Until you find out the only reason that person started youth activities was easy access to children to fulfill his sexual desires.
