I sometimes wonder how much they even practice the short-to-intermediate game in this play-action deep-or-nothing scheme of Cameron's. We tried doing exactly that at the start of the Arkansas game and Harris wouldn't have been able to hit the Mississippi from the New Bridge.

This is not based on one season. The problems on offense, except for 2013, have been around for years. The difference in 2013? We had a pro style, drop back QB under center, not a dual threat athlete trying to make him a pro style, drop back QB. It's hard to wait '2 more years' when we've already been waiting nearly 8 years, since Flynn left, already. There's nothing to indicate anything is going to change, given how stubborn and reluctant Miles is to adapt.

Correct. By any indication he does take action with staff changes to address poor performance. And he recruits. We have an awesome staff of recruiters who are bringing in top talent. Why burn it to the ground now? What does it help? The only way to beat Alabama is better line play...we've got two solid line coaches now. Better than Stud and Haley. Just stop panicking.

I understand this but the solution is more talent and a deeper squad. That is solved by recruiting. That is why we should wait. Alabama is good. Saban is good. LSU is not going to get ahead by firing one of the best staff of recruiters in the country. It suck losing five years in a row yes but that's no reason to risk everything on coaching change gamble. Is Steele really better than Chavis? How about special teams coaching? Better or worse? Why does everyone always assume it can only get better? Tiger Woods has changed coaches three times. How did that work out?

This seems correct to me. It seems like the QB reads deep to short but that puts too much pressure on the Oline. If you guys want fire someone, Coach Cam would be the guilty party, not Miles.

Are you talking about the "new" bridge they built 47 years ago?

So you want him to stay cause he's a great recruiter and his hiring skills?? You said nothing in your argument about his coaching skills. You can recruit all the 4 and 5 star players you want, but if you don't coach them then it means nothing. But if you have any evidence of Miles' coaching skills, I'm all ears...

I really wish that one guy was still here. He would tell us how great it was and make everyone feel better.

Too bad he was such a cry baby
