I think this game means more to LSU than it does to Bama because of the expectations and implications. You guys expected to be in Atlanta and have a chance for the national title. This game is the last (semi)losable game on your schedule. You should walk over everyone else. Coming into the season, Bama fans just wanted a team to compete for four quarters. We expected anywhere from 9-3 to 7-5, and that is still where we may wind up. The most realistic among us realize that we don't have a good chance in this game. If we lose it will hurt just like any other loss, but we won't have the heartbreak that LSU fans would have if Bama were to win. The media is going to squeeze every ounce out of this game because they realize that the game itself might not be very good. It's already starting with writers throwing around terms like "Saban Bowl". This is one game on our schedule that I just want to get behind us. I'm dreading the media circus it's going to become.
This is not that big of a game for Bama COMPARED to LSU. All the pressure is on LSU. Nobody expected Saban to be No. 1 in the SEC right now, but he is sitting right at the top. This season has been full of surprises; this game is much bigger for Les Miles. If Saban keeps this game close, Bama fans will be happy with that. They are happy with the results already. Again, LSU is the team that is expected to perform on Saturday. That is a compliment toward LSU, BTW, before people start to knee-jerk. LSU has the talent, the rankings, and hype, and they, again, are the team that is expected to win...
just curious, how long will bama fans keep making excuses for Saban? you know, Shula was horrible (never mind that he NEVER got to compete without sanctions) new staff, no stenghth training, etc. Before getting all excited about how great Saban has been, and how LSU is inconsistent and underperforming, take a look at who each team has played. Bama has played Ga. and Tenn, both at home, and lost to one. Squeaked by Ole Miss, Houston, and Ark. And Bama doesn't go on the road for a tough game until Auburn. Just curious, TerryP, RE, Stars, how do you think Bama would have done with our schedule?
Jeez, what are you a ****ing parrot? All you do bro is echo TerryP. Were you the Moo U fan or the UAB fan or the Bama fan that was wondering if LSU was wondering about settling the score with UAB? What a jackoff.
One of the toughest schedule's in the nation? Ya'll haven't even played a meaningfull road game. Put the crack pipe down before you burn yourself.
