You need new glasses, old feller. The pitch was a lateral, it was right down the line. Even if you think it was a "pick one" call, the rules say that unless the issue is incontrovertible, then the call on the field must stand.
as much as I hate to admit it and agree with Miles, but the fake field goal was probably a good call. Meyer was never expecting it and the odds were 40% or higher that we'd miss it and if we had made it, it was just overtime and that's always a risky venture. however, from now on, every opposing coach is gonna think, "what's the nuttiest thing my 13 year old playing NCAA x-box would call in this situation" and then be prepared for Miles ship, I couldn't go a whole post complimenting Miles before I insulted him, bad habits are hard to break....
