Good effort at the end and PROPS for not rolling over dead with NOTHING going LSU's way.

Was it the best game LSU has had? Heck no.

But they are still tigers and we are still tiger fans.

I've seen some of the talk about JJ and ya know, its not all him.

Yea some bad thrown balls, but how many DROPS?

Talk about D, well how about talk about how little time the LSU O took off the clock for them?

D kept us in this game.

JJ could be great, or he could bust, but watching JJ is in no way worse that was we had last year. Look at how bad Pryor for Ohio had it last year and look how he turned things around for this year.

If it doesn't work out for JJ, there is always Garret and if he isn't for LSU the Zach Lee and if he doenst work out, I am always sure someone on this board will let us know.

If you look at 2003 and 2007, those QB's weren't great.

    THey were:

    A) Seniors
    B) great game managers
    C) LEADERS

I never for once thought JJ could pick up all of these traits in his first season as a starter. He's not bad and not great, but we do not need great. All LSU needs is to play together and it is going to take SENIOR LEADERSHIP to do it.

I hope some of you suckers aren't here next year or they let me block all your dumb post just raggin on players and coaches every week.

    *4th string RB
*One play with RS and he didn't touch the ball
*Almost a TD return by TH...the kicker made a great play
*JJ threw too many at the ankles
*Dropped passes including two that probably would've gone for TDs
*At least four dropped INTs...one that would've been a pick-6
    *Turnovers
    *Poor clock management
*Horrible officiating including spotting the ball in the wrong place...often
    *Staring down primary WR

Even with all this we had a chance to win but couldn't make a first down or third down stop when needed. I agree with some we're not far from a 6-6 team but I also think we're not far from a 12-0 team.

The offense was not good and it comes down to OC, QB, and OL. Can these be fixed?

Let's hope so. At this point I don't have a lot of confidence in GC or JJ. I'm more hopeful for an improved OL.

The good news is...it's officially college baseball season now! :tigbas:
