Bologney, our O sucked every game after Bama that JJ returned for, esp. the SECCG. Sure, we won them, and the final scores may have been convincing, but they weren't offensive blowouts. If he didn't recognize it then, he won't now, imo. Here's holding out hope. We need one solid OC, not a tandem, and that person needs to be given the reins.
(for all of you spell conscious mfers, I know Bologna is spelled w/an "a" at the end, not "ey", but it looks better this way).

 

Besides the losses of PP and MoClaiborne, we also lost our DB coach. I wonder what has been the most significant? The drop off has seemed to happen since we lost our coach.

 

I think the Cooper loss was huge, we also lost Mo, Brooks, Taylor, and Mathieu, 3 in the NFL now, all 4 as of next year. Had 1 returning starter in Reid, 1 guy who played alot in Simon, 1 guy who played some in Loston, and 4 freshman that saw PT, 2 of those freshman saw a ton of PT in the Jalens, and 2 who saw significant time in Eugene and Martin, and some Welter dude last night.

 

Hard to say because in addition to those we lost Tyrann, Brandon Taylor and Ron Brooks all top line DBs who had experiance working together. That is a lot to make up. I would give Corey a pass this year and see what develops next year.
