This cat's definitely part of @tirk 's wine and cheese crowd. Bet the only starter he knows is 'number 7'.
The interim HC is now Coach Ed Orgeron, he was our D-Line coach. He is a native of Louisiana and well loved and respected by the players. He has had a few attempts at the HC spot but it wasn't his strength.
Wow!! As a Rebel fan, it would be SO easy to crack smartass comments about this guy and LSU. But many of you, who know me as Col Reb, know that I don't post like that. However, I will say that this guy is NOT a LSU grad!!!! No way.
Watching the last play of the game, the color announcer was quoted as saying "DJ Chark may have just saved LSU's season and Les Miles' job". There was a lot of blunt talk from the color announcer about the ineptitude of this offense all during that 4th quarter that had to have some effect on the powers that be and help push them over the edge to make the decision to fire Miles today. Like saying "this offense is not good enough to compete against Alabama", "LSU has not scored in the 4th quarter this entire season", "Dupre is at the very least a 2nd round draft pick per Todd McShay", "If you know you are going to pass, why would you have Fournette in the game on a bum ankle in pass protection". Showing on not one, not two, but three plays in which Dupre was wide open for a potential game winning touchdown and Etling not even looking his way. So forth and so on. This 4th quarter was the same 4th quarter vs A&M from last year. He nearly escaped being fired for a second time.
