Agreed. We should be very quiet UT and A&M fans this season.....We want LSU to be the top coaching opening this post season if Tom is seriously looking to leave.

It's not about "looking to leave" I'm sure he is quite content. Have to make the grass greener on the other side of the fence

LSU is much greener than Houston. My only concern is other openings being more appealing. Like UT or A&M, cause they would be.

What's that saying, success is when opportunity meets preparation or something like that. In other words, being in the right place at the right time sure damn helps. Look at Meyer to tOSU or Saban to Bama.

I hope LSU gets lucky too. Missing out on a guy like Herman and settling for a guy like Kiffin could be a painful "what if" one day for the LSU faithful.

I would actually doubt that he is truly content. Houston gave an unproven coach an opportunity to prove himself, which he is doing and for which I am sure he is grateful.

However, I would bet that he is, in fact, looking to leave. Houston isn't and won't ever be a top program, one that can lose a game (or even just not look good in a game) a ever make it to the playoffs. Herman is smart enough to know that he needs to be in a power 5 conference to make any noise.

Sumlin ain't going anywhere unless he wants to. He has A&M rolling. The UT job is safe right now as well. Those 2 jobs won't be open for at least a few more years, I doubt Herman hangs on that long at UH just waiting on them.

I feel the same way, today. But how many times has A&M started 5-0 or 7-0 and shit the bed? All but one year?

UT may have beat ND, but ND appears to be struggling their selves and if UT stinks it up this year, it won't take long for Chucks seat to catch fire.

A&M just rolled the pigs, and they're a good squad again this year. Sumlin now has a defense to match his offense, their only true test left comes from Bama. If A&M rolls through the season with just 1 loss at Bama, they'll find themselves in the Sugar. More than enough to retain Sumlin. His job is safe for a long time as long as Chavis remains.

Sorry, not sorry. I'll believe when I see it. And I have seen A&M do this exact thing every year.

You can believe what you want to believe, it's your prerogative . I'm just saying, as long as Sumlin has an O/D that wins them 10 games a year, the Faggie Admin ain't going to cut him.

With A&M's offense light years ahead of Miles/LSU's, A&M will see a SECC game before LSU does.

Thats a separate argument, I agree A&M's offense is light years better than LSU's just don't agree A&M is necessarily a 10 win team.
