God can be Ra, Odon, Alla or whatever. It's just faith that there is one that gives us hopefully a moral compass. I haven't attended church since I was 12 so I am not a religious nut by any stretch. Without faith in a higher power we have no explanation how we got here and more importantly WHY we are here.

God’s existence can’t be proven but faith there is a god or supreme being or timeless first actor has been a fixture of self awareness since the first hominid walked the earth. Most often God’s image is shown as we see him not because he is or is a figment but because of our limitations. Regardless there isn’t and hasn’t been a society that doesn’t see the infinite in some form. It’s faith and a belief in God that inspired the greatest progress in history. Faith is the foundation of the society and without it there is no brake on the purely animal instinct in mankind. Note I’m not speaking of religion by faith in God (for lack of a better word). Religion is flawed mankind’s efforts to reach out to god yet it’s the best we can do. I’m not going to prove god exists or try to convince you. However look into your soul and meditate and you may find him looking back at you. It just takes faith.
