50 years ago this month. Halloween night 1959. We all know how that turned out. :geauxtige:geauxtige:geauxtige:geauxtige
Bring back the Magic. Let the Valley Shake. Have Billy Cannon's ghost return a punt. oops he's still with us. Come on Tiger fans lets bring the noise and attitude we showed in the 97 game when we brought down #1. Get fired up! Are ya'll ready? I sure am.:geauxtige:LSU231::crystal::crystal::helmet::tigereye::milesmic::tigerhead
We were #1, only to fall to #5 the next week after the Kentucky loss. Florida was #7, having dropped from #3 after losing the previous week to Auburn 20-17 in The Swamp. 2007 LSU Tigers football team - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The national polls did not agree with each other, unlike 50 years ago and this week. The Coaches poll had us at #4 and OSU at #7 for that game. http://www.lsusports.net/src/data/l...-195.pdf?SPSID=27815&SPID=2164&DB_OEM_ID=5200 And since when do we pay attention to the AP poll around here anyways? :hihi: :crystal:
halloween night will be the 50th anniversary of the bc run. we also play tulane halloween night. how fitting that the death of the lsu/tulane series be sent out with a halloween masacre! *insert scary movie music here*
Hopefully that will be the night that we bury the Two-lane football program for good. 62-0, for the fourth and final time. That'll make ol' Greenie happy, right?? :hihi:
omg. i am smiling at the thought of it. i wouldnt even rub it in on our drive home. all nine hours of it. honest. unfortunately, there will be one game in the future. i hope they renegotiate (in other words, give in to tulanes $$ demands) and scrap that final "to be determined when in the future" game.
