Same as I posted earlier. You'd almost need a shot from directly overhead to ascertain wether it was a forward pass or not.
From what I understand, it has been reviewed and ruled a forward pass. ISLSTL, if you find out that I'm correct, I assume you'll revisit the thread regarding QB ratings?
http://http://www.lsusports.net/fls/5200/assets/docs/fb/11stats/ls07e.pdf?DB_OEM_ID=5200 According to the revised stats from lsusports.net, Lee had 3 TDs yesterday. They've changed it to a forward pass. In fact, they changed 3 of them to forward passes, making Lee 13-17 with 3 TDs! That 3rd TD puts him just ahead of Jordan Jefferson and Bert Jones on the all time TD pass list for LSU. I believe that's 8th place.
Good. But, who are "they" that changed it to a forward pass? (I couldn't open the link) Just curious.
@LSUBonnette: After consulting staffs at both UT/LSU, Russell Shepard's 4Q 14-yard TD officially changed from a rush to a reception from J. Lee. I guess that's about as good of an answer as we are going to get... ETA: @LSUBonnette: Two other stat changes involve switching O. Beckham's runs of 1 and 8 yards to receptions. J. Lee now credited with 3 TD passes vs. Vols.
I need to crunch the numbers again but Jarrett Lee could have possibly vaulted all the way to the top 25 quarterbacks in the nation. Also LSU should be #1 in the SEC in passer rating.
Still has 10/14 and 2 TDs in the stats on ESPN. Will these revised stats upgrade on that site at some time, or are these stats just relegated to LSUsports.net?
