WOW Alabama is winning the recruiting race in impressive fashion.. I never liked them & got sick to my stomach when I heard Sabin was going there. Get Ready Tiger fans - in a couple of years or sooner those guys are gonna be tough... Hope we can return the favor next year with Louisiana being blessed with many more talented players {according to the experts} than we were this year..

You are certainly right there. Saban has done his magic...and he's already started the push on next year's class, including in Louisiana.

Gonna be a real "Border War" in the next couple of years with Mississippi caught in the middle... Les better put up some strong fences - Saban is on the prowl...

:rolleye33: Tom. Grab a paper bag. Breathe slowly.

:rolleye33: A "damned strong football team". For about the next five years...

:rolleye33: Did Saban recruit well in LA? Or did LSU recruit well in LA? The next two years will tell, I guess. But I have a feeling two crystal footballs and a coach who players respond to VERY WELL will be more important than Bama's HC to most LA recruits.

Breath, Tom. Watch the bag fill and fall, fill and fall.

:rolleye33: Bama will draw it's share of talent. And if the 2009 LA class is as good and deep as some say, Saban will grab one or two, prolly. As CParso points out, let's see if we get who and what we need. I'll wager that, unless next year is a 4 loss season, we'll be muy bueno.

LSU has a top 10 recruiting class locked up, likely top 7 or higher from most of the accounts I've read. Take a look at our last two recruiting classes. Take a look at our depth chart. Review the win/loss records of the Top 10 recruiting schools for the last five years and compare them to LSU, record for record. S'all good, brother. :thumb:

Some people in the know have FSU in the lead for this kid.

I have no idea where you get the idea that FSU is not on his radar.

If you read any of the other sites, there are apparently LOTS of people in the know. Just about everyone thinks they're still on TJ's dance card. I'd have to think that growing up so close to FSU and FSU's recruiting ability in that area, they qualify as a radar blip.
