According to the latest, DB is back where he was with LSU throughout most of the recruiting process...that is, LSU is in the lead. He also looks like he will qualify.

These are who to watch DeAngelo Benton, DeAndre Brown, Lavar Edwards (thought to commit after visit next week), Jermaine Thomas (FSU commit), Derrick Hall (soft TAMU commit), Corey Liuget (Illinois commit), T.J. Bryant (probably Miami), and Alonzo Lawrence (probably UF).

I think we pull Benton, Brown, Edwards, Liuget, and one of the others giving us 27 signed. Although, Benton will not count towards our signing day class.

DeAndre Brown is a Rivals "5 star" recruit. Isn't 4.62 kinda slow for a wide receiver - especially a 5? I'm kinda a speed guy & I notice there are plenty of 4.4 & some 4.3 guys out there not rated nearly that high so I guess speed isn't that much of a factor?
Where is Julio Jones gonna wind up? I notice LSU is not even on his list anymore. Alabama sure has their name on a lot more recruits list. With 26 on the board how many more can they take?

    I WANT THEM ALL!!!!

Has anyone else heard that TJ Bryant cancelled his Bama visit for this weekend, and instead is visiting LSU with his parents?

According the Tidefans.com...that's what the deal is.

4.62 can't be right for DBrown. I suspect he is at least no worst than 4.55 (about where Bowe was).

DeAndre is the real deal. His (listed) timed speed isn't that impressive, but hes 6'6 and strong as a bull. Wherever he goes he'll succeed.

I think hes faster than whats listed though. I'd say hes in that mid-4.5 range, which is not bad at all considering his size.

Scott is not our problem this year. Defensive tackle is, were creating a gap that will pressure us in a bind in the next 2 years. Look at what will happen in our linebackers for next year.

That's a good point. DT is a position many fans look over in recruiting because we're so loaded there, but we lose 2 seniors there next year. We'll end up with 2 in this class though and I think that will be enough.

I'm very high on Cordian Hagans. He'll be a good one once he learns some technique.
