Patrick Johnson CB from florida - I do believe our chances are very good to land this 5 star i like his size and the fact that he tackels very well. Antoine McClain OT 6-6 313lbs-sheer size makes you take a chance on him. i dont know about thins one but we have a shot Darrell Scott RB - I know we have a stable of running backs but i thought we would be out of the picture along time ago on getting this kid..but were still hanging around so who knows.
This is what the "last push" looks like right now....Tyler Edwards, Deandre Brown, DeAngelo Benton, Lavar Edwards, Patrick Johnson, TJ Bryant. The big question is if PJ and TB want to go to the same school. That would put us a 27....28 is not out of the question if another big name sends there papers.
If we win the NC is there a chance we might finish in the top 5 in recruiting? on rivals it looks like we are in the running for picking up three 5 star recruits, Patrick Johnson, Darrell Scott and Michael Patchan. If we land these 3 guys where does that put us on rivals?
We will land one of those guys. We have no shot at Scott or Patchan. LSU could finish as high as 5th, but I doubt any higher. We will most likely have a top 10 class, around 7th or 8th.
Patchan eliminated the Tigers yesterday....down to UF and UM. Regardless of how we finish...it looks like its gonna be a very solid top 10 class. My projected top 5 teams according to rivals, in no particular order, will be: Notre Dame, Alabama, Miami, UGA, and FSU. Ohio State and USC may sneak in there depending on how many schollys they have to offer. Those top 5 teams will be difficult for us to catch at this point.
