So I was playing on Wiki, looking at past LSU basketball players to see if they were still playing in Europe or someplace; and I see Jordy Hultberg whom I didn't know used to play basketball for LSU. I click on his name and under his Athletic Career bio it says: "Jordy played high school basketball at De La Salle High School in New Orleans where he was known for his '11 incher'."

I know its wiki and people write all kinds of crazy stuff on there on pages that people don't usually look at, but I'm just wondering if it has any truth to it. Or do I just have a perverted mind and it is referencing something else?

Maybe 11 inches was his vertical jump. He could shoot the ball pretty good though.

People sneak stuff on wiki every now and then, that's why it isn't always the best place for info.

Around the time that Mike Shula was fired, I went to see his previous coaching experience and it had on there that he was know for his penchent for fat women.

Jordy is also known for his numerous DWIs and general jerkish attitude. Is that in there? That part is actually true.

My friend screamed "YOU SUCK JORDY" from the student section once and he just turned and smiled and waved.

I thought his claim to fame was his relentless car dealership commercials... ;)

What, we're not good enough for country sausage too?

Now someone went on wiki and changed it, must have been a loyal Jordy fan cause the guy who changed it, looks to have posted half the stuff on there. Hell its probably Jordy himself!

He was a decent player while at LSU but I was in junior high then so I don't really remember details.

jordy seems to be a pretty likable personality with LSU and the hornets and on his radio show on 1210.

which is why i think it's weird he is so unliked by people he comes into contact with.
my wife used to wait tables at a local BR establishment back when she was in grad school and he used to go there alot. she does not have a high opinion of the guy.

actually two very fun memories of my college days were back in the day jordy hosted a call in sports show on sunday nights with ruffin rodrigue. people would call in every once and a while to verbally assault jordy. which it was always funny because ruffin usually wanted to come through the tv and fight the guy that did it.

but nothing was better than jaimie howard on that show and the crank call that ensued.

i can't repeat any of it on this forum, but it entertained me and my roomates.
