I would be a bad azz Freddy G. Sanford, and a decent George Jefferson, but a much better Sanford.

Not totally the best place but I wanted to separate it from Charlottesville. This article takes a look at the violent left and how it and the violent right rise and fall in lock step over time. Too many are attacking the foundation of our country. Those on the right for losing what they think they had and those on the left for what they never wanted.
We've had at least 16 1/2 years of poor leadership whose focus has been in the wrong place. It seems more poor leadership is to follow. There are precious few if any in either party available to become the leaders we need.
Antifa’s activists say they’re battling burgeoning authoritarianism on the American right. Are they fueling it instead?

The problem is us normal folks dont go protest. If we did, we would be much larger.

Maybe its time we all did something about it?

It's ironic isn't it. It's kind of like christianty and later anabaptists. They are persecuted, hung, fed to Lions, crucified, tortured, murdered, then years after their religion is accepted as the religion of state or whatever theocratic form you wanna call it, they are the ones that start hanging people, torturing them, murdering them because they aren't Christians.

I have a feeling that the days where protesting could make a difference are over. I think it's much more effective to have everyone call their senator or congressman and just continue to blow their phones up. Look what it did to Collins and Murkowski. The only reason they voted no and continued to vote no on the GOP healthcare thing was because of their constituents blowing their phones up. When these people think they will lose their job, that's when you can make a difference.

Payback is a muthafucka ain't it? How about just a short while back two factions of Christians in Northern Ireland were killing each other because they didn't believe that the other side were the "right kind of Christians." Just like your mooslems - not only will they kill you for being a Christian or a Jew, they will kill you for not being the right kind of mooslem.
