I would be surprised. It will be especially brutal Saturday for fans sitting in the east side upper deck. They will be facing directly into the sun.
I refuse to go to a day game in September, My Daughter and I both almost had heat stroke at the Florida game a few years ago. I spent a pretty penny on water that day, I tell everyone I know when they say they are going to a day game there, DON'T GO. We should have just left to be honest. Until they hurt in the pocket book, it will not stop.
He said water will be at a reduced price but the supply is limited. When the $3 a bottle water runs out in the first quarter there will still be plenty of $4 water.
It's irresponsible to not allow fans to bring in their own water. I have gotten sunburned more than once in Tiger Stadium, but I'm happy I'll be watching in A/C.
Thanks for catching that. I read something a long time ago, in relation to the time zone effect, explaining how traveling east was a bigger disadvantage than vice versa. Gonna see if I can find it.
I've never really noticed any effect either way except once when I flew to Colorado and all I wanted to do was sleep the first couple of days I was there. But that was probably the altitude.
