I watched, but NASCAR has basically self-destructed since its boom days early in the 2000's. So many changes eroded my enthusiasm, and by the time they fixed them, it was too late. Like the move around 2003 or so to later start times to bring in West Coast viewers. Taking the Labor Day race slot away from Darlington and giving it to California. Just bad moves that turned off its core audience. And of course, all the guys I came up watching/cheering/hating have retired. I was thinking that from the first race I ever saw live - Talladega, spring of '01 - only two drivers from that field are still racing, Harvick and Kurt Busch.
