The Good things from this weekend

    Despite the game, there were a few very cool things that happened at the game this weekend.
    1. The 58 team was brought out at the half (only a few no shows, even coach dietzel looked to be in good shape.)

    2. Billy Cannon's number was retired (the sign lights up and looks pretty cool at night.)

    i agree pod. and a great post.

    given the history of lsu and how much we love it, this season will soon just be a number in the books, followed by much better seasons.

    and down the road we will be honoring men who came after those honored this weekend.

    great pics,
    i already thought the #20 was retired, i can't remember the last time a player wore it, and i always make sure when i play NCAA on playstation that new recruits never take the #20. i know, i'm pitiful.

    The number 20 was retired immediately after Billy Cannon's final season at LSU.
