But is Porter better at center than Hoko is at guard? That is probably what would make them decide to make that switch.
@ LSU_4_LIFE how can you be disappointed that Harris played & then say we need to develope the QB'S by playing them? Anyway, I don't think one or two bad series can ruin Harris' confidence.
Was it pretty ?-NO, was it what we were all hoping to see?-NO, but the fact is we played from behind most of the game,grew up a lot and fought for VICTORY! I trust our great coaching staff to make changes and improve these young men. I am DAMN proud of our team and the never quit attitude they showed. It was the first game and we have a couple of weeks to get some more playtime/experience on some of these younger players. They will gel and pull it together. 1-0 GEAUX TIGERS!!
I only watched a bit in person, but I would put the BIG UGLY on the right side D. The big gainer we were owned, and the first TD was frightening. That is basic blocking and tackling. We did that to ourselves by being grossly out of position. Hope/Pray they got better, but I could not take anymore.
Hell, tv announcers pointed out Wisconsin D was playing a 3-4 and Cameron was able to lure backup nose guard into allowing a huge gap before the play even got started.
