Please don't ever refer to an LSU Tiger as that human waste of sperm that should have ended up dribbling off his mother's chin. Fuck Roman Harper.

Things stepped up considerably when they replaced Welter with Lamar Louis. That little guy is going to be good. He goes to the ball. .. and he goes forward.

Mettenberger needs to stop forcing the long pass. There was a game plan that worked when we used it ... medium (10-15) passes down field combined with the ground and pound.

Mett cost the team a loss in a big way. Welter cost the team a loss on the last OM TD. Had Welter stepped up into the hole, instead of going backwards and sideways, that TD would have been stuffed.

AS for the time management issue ... I really don't think it would have made any difference. The O was not firing on all cylinders and could not have scored in 26 seconds. Mett probably would have just thrown another int.

You need a defense to win. Mett screwed up early. We had plenty time to make amends. This shitty defense is to blame first and foremost. Add Leslie miles to that list as well I suppose. Aka the χρονομέτρης.

    THE GOOD
    1. Neighbors did pretty well subbing for Copeland.
    2. Travis Dickson had a nice reception.
    3. Beckwith had a big stop in a kick return.
    4. Delahoussay is for real. The guy is automatic.

Red, if that's all we've got in the GOOD column, I don't want to read any more! Your summaries are always point-on, so seeing the above was frightening to the CORE!

    It's almost like reading:

    THE GOOD
    1. The Gatorade change to "Ice Cherry" was a popular choice.
    2. The humidity was down a tad from last week.
    3. The LSU band played with vigor throughout four quarters.
    4. CLM on the Turf: "It had flavors of pear and apple, with a grassy finish."

Frightening, Red. Here, in the Red Meat of our season, frightening.

I am girding myself for the rest of the schedule. For some on this forum, that means laying in an extra case or two of Stoker's Chew, cases of beer and pints of Jack.
For others, Tums, Rolaids, Gaviscon or Mylanta will be "just what the doctor ordered."

Overall, IDGAF about the rest of it--if only we can go to The Palace of the Gumps and eat their lunch!

Amigo, I am going to enjoy the rest of the season and thank my lucky stars that we are not Ole Miss, Auburn, Missouri, or Vanderbilt, even though all four won games yesterday. It's just one game. LSU is a very good program that is widely envied.

You would rather trade places with Missouri? Well, they did win a national championship in 1954. No wait, that was baseball. OK, they've finished in the top-10 ten times since 1936. Man I envy those guys.
