Has to be a reason you are the only one here that isn't able to figure out that the kid sucks ass and should not be out there. Ever.
It always starts in the trenches and our OL and DL got their asses handed to them (Last night and the WI game). Size? Inexperience? Coaching? Strength and Conditioning? All the above? My guess is, it is not Moffitt and inexperience is an excuse. It will be a long year if we can not stop the run nor can we establish it. You can hide a lot of ugly with solid trench play. Just my $.02
Because I pay attention and am not looking for a scapegoat after every loss. The Usual Suspects are here again, calling for the firing of Les, Chavis, Jennings, Pocic, Grimes, Welter , etc. because LSU apparently has no right to ever lose a game in a rebuilding year. All those players lost to the NFL are starting to show, did that ever cross your mind. Beckwith played a lot last night and had the same number of tackles as Welter. Did you notice that the entire LSU defense sucked last night.
We look sloppy on offense. I did some things that encouraged me -- the no huddle, Jennings escapability, Harris Arm, and the young talent. But I do NOT see a mean streak. Our OLine is not hammering the opponent. Too many unblocked defenders. And our interior D is weak - DT and MLB. Another thing... if we can't keep up with Miss State (no offense to them), then we're in for a long season with our schedule .... Florida, Auburn, Ole Miss, Bama.
