Mostly just human nature. Coaches only have so many times they can press the button to get full attention. Sela ain't one of em. This week isone of em but I dont think it's gonna matter.
good: special team, brosette gaining confidence, hail Mary southeastern's qb Bad: sela shouldn't disrupt an lsu o line like that More drops Ugly: joe is going to last about 3 min. If that clock doesn't go off..sec is here hard to coach em up in a trap game but this was a lost opportunity by ed this week...we needed to build on Miami and get joe more reps, etc. but couldn't make it work on to auburn 2-0 and there's not a lot wrong with that. Saturday should be fun
I hope Burrow is watching it Saints today. He could learn a lot about pocket presence from Drew Brees
Good No turnovers. No major injuries in a game that didn't really matter as far as the SEC. Jeaux got more reps and hopefully learned more and Brosette continues to motor. We pitched a shutout. Kicking so far is almost perfect. Bad Line blocking. Jeaux held the ball too long. Dropped passes. Ugly Defense got sloppy in second half. Allowed SEL to stay in the game and vastly win time of posession. Very very untimely drive killing penalties. Fans
Everyone concludes JB held the ball too long. I believe because the receivers were getting poor seperation and no one was releasing to create a pass option. It happened twice where a receiver broke open for a throw. I'm just guessing as the TV screen picks up only so much. Been holding out for someone who was actually at the game. But you gotta believe there are only few reasons he was holding the ball so long. We seemed to be servicable on quick screens and that 1 reception to 18 was blown coverage. We are gonna have to dink and dunk to move the ball against the barn cause we are not gonna run it very well without the quick toss. It is, for the sake of the defense, that we sustain drives. Long ball won't do it nor will the run.
